The Flame of Hope

Hallo meine Lieben, dieses selbstverfasste Gedicht soll Euch Licht und Wärme spenden und einen wohligen Schauer über den Rücken laufen lassen, welcher Euch die andere Seite von Halloween aufzeigen soll.

When autumn leaves gently brush against you in the whisper of the wind, you can feel your departed loved ones deep within your heart.

When a bird cries out in the silence of a particularly dark night, it may be that someone you have lost is watching over you, offering protection from above.

The stars in the sky, so wise, so bright, and so clear, know how beautiful your life was with those you loved. They offer hope in the darkest of nights and help a grieving heart find its light once more.

And the moon above shines directly into your soul, for it understands your sorrow and your pain. Softly it whispers: "Do not lose heart. Tonight is a special night, a night when all that seems lost is brought back to life within memory and love."

So take a little candle and light its flame. It is such a simple thing to do, yet its meaning is profound.

Tonight, the flame of the candle speaks only to you. Believe me, dear friend, it carries hope. Its light brings warmth and reaches deep within your heart. Be certain of this: you are never alone.

Those you love most remain with you forever and always. They are there in every gentle breeze, in every shooting star that crosses the night sky.

They reveal themselves not only during this special night, but in every moment of your life—whenever your thoughts return to them.

Happiness is often much simpler than we believe, and frequently closer than we imagine. If we hold firmly to hope and faith, the future can become something truly beautiful.

The carved pumpkin faces, both eerie and enchanting, remind us not only on Halloween that this journey through life is worth taking.

We need not fear our final hour. When we carry that certainty within our hearts, life itself becomes lighter and more complete.

All human souls are connected to one another. If we truly understood this, no one would willingly cause harm to another. The heart possesses a wisdom far beyond that of the mind, while the candle in our lantern slowly burns lower and lower.

Yet the approaching darkness no longer fills us with sorrow, for true light does not come from the candle at all.

It is born within our hearts.

And so light will always triumph over darkness. Of this, you may be certain. The night slowly draws to a close, morning awakens, and the candle's glow finally fades away—quietly, gently, and in peace.

With gratitude and love, we welcome the new day, carrying within our hearts the comforting certainty that it may bring beautiful things.

A wonderful Halloween to all of you.
